    ROB LIEFELD PRESENTS...........BABY CABLE 2011

    HAHAHAHAHAHA
    DOES IT GET ANY FUNNIER??

I just can't believe that Kirkman loves Liefeld. In an interview he states that he strongly believes that Liefeld is one of the best in the business. Part of it I think is that Kirkman mentions that--I think--Liefeld "inspired him/got him into the business" type of thing. So I guess the concept of nostalgia is there of when Liefeld wasn't concerned as bad as he is concerned to be now, but...man it just saddens me. I won't touch a book because of Liefeld. Period.

I CANNOT HELP BUT TO MAKE FUN OF HIS ART.....ITS HORRIFIC...AND I'M LOSING A LOT OF RESPECT OF KIRKMAN LATELY....HE IS BECOMING AN IMAGE ASSHOLE.

Anatomy of the human body aside my biggest problem with Liefeld is his heads for characters and their faces. He lacks different expressions. I was looking at a preview for Infinite and there is an entire page of the main character talking to another and in every single panel both characters are looking at YOU the reader while talking to EACHOTHER and every single panel they have the same expression and no hand gestures or anything...people don't talk like that that is something where Artistic License comes into play and Liefeld lacks that.

    YUP!!

AND THATS WHY I LIKE ARTISTS LIKE GIL KANE, JIM APARO, ROSS ANDRU, DICK DILLON, JACK KIRBY, JOHN ROMITA, NEIL ADAMS, GEORGE PEREZ.

    THEIR CHARACTERS COME TO LIFE....

I have a love hate relationship with the man. His work has gotten better but still..even his best can take a fantastic story and just ruin it.

I CAN'T SEE THAT HE GOT BETTER...IT LOOKS THE SAME TO ME...LOOK AT THAT DUDES FISTS.....THE MISSING RIGHT CALF AND FOOT.......THE POUCHES....IT HASN'T CHANGED.

There is definitely better out there............but there is definitely worse as well. I just feel like this comic has a 90's vibe to it, so I honestly think they are just trying to give anyone in there late 20s and beyond a little nastolgia
