    Cat. 5 pages

Here are the first three pages of Mike Dreher's work on our Cat. 5 story in October's LADY FIGHT: ESCALATION from EARTHBOUND COMICS.

The letters are by EARTHBOUND COMICS co-founder, and our own former host of COMICS ARE FOR PEOPLE, the loveable MATT GRANT.

On page 1, the logo isn't up yet, so pretend it says CAT. 5 above the credits box.

I'd tease some more, but c'mon, you're already looking at 3 pages to an 8 page story! Waddaya want from me?

I already told you what I thought :P

    Wonders of email.

At least they didn't call him another super hero/villain like they did to me. LOL *cough* streetsharks *cough*

I like the way this has turned out though.

Ya, know....I've never seen STREET SHARKS, but I'm getting the feeling I would have liked it.

But what's most important about the Bull-Shark, is that he's a visual pun. That makes me happy.

OK, that's NOT what's most important...but it STILL makes me happy.

You should see the REST of the pages. And you WILL! 'Cause who could NOT wanna read this!?*

*Rhetorical question, not requiring an answer. In fact, I demand it not be answered. I'll cry. I mean it. And you guys can't make fun of me for it, 'cause I've read your responses to the SADDEST MOVIE thread. So, Nyah!

Thanks, Chief and Martin! I'm quite pleased with the way this turned out.

And since we all know how well I deal things out of my control (NOT!) it's truly an amazing thing that I am so happy with the artistic interpretation of my story by someone other than myself.

Granted, I've known Mikey for a LOOOOOoooong time, and brought him in on this because I had a pretty good idea what he could/would do, but I was STILL blown away by the end result.

Funny dialogue. Good shading. Where can I find more?
