    Ha! Very funny...

I've gone out of my way to create some interesting fantasy characters with lots of layers. The world they live in is undoubtedly inspired by High Fantasy troupes, but I worked to get each character to stand on their own. Hell, I want the world to stand on its own! I've got the whole 'fight against evil' theme - but that is a back drop to the character development.

I even left behind the painfully over-used 'medieval Europe type' setting. I chose to give my world splashes of Indian (Hindu), Mesoamerica, Persian and African culture influences. I have the familiar players: Humans, Elves, faeries, wizards, demons and some other recognizable creatures - most of which are refreshing twists on old character types.

    Oh, Forby, Forby, Forby...

What Fantasy have you been reading?

    Oh. Wait.
You called Robert Jordan the "master of modern Fantasy."

    There's your problem right there.
    "Living Robert Venditti's Plan B!"
